Admissions criteria to Nursery*

- Children living within the school’s normal area who have an elder brother or sister at the school at the time of their admission.
- Other children living in the normal area.
- Children outside the normal area that have a brother or sister at the school at the time of their admission.
- Other children living at an address within the ecclesiastical parish of Oakwood, whose parents have expressed a preference for their child to attend Parkview nursery. These children will be allocated places on age basis (eldest first).
Applications satisfying the same criteria will be decided on the basis of a straight line measurement from the centre of the main ‘dwelling’ to the school using the National Ordnance Survey set points.
Children will be accepted into nursery from the age of 3, our main intake will be during the autumn term. There may be a few places available for children from categories 1 & 2 in the spring term, if they have reached their third birthday by the start of term. Children will be offered a maximum of 5 sessions either mornings or afternoons at the discretion of the staff.
*Children with special needs which can best be met by our nursery will be considered for priority application.
