Realise Your Potential

At Parkview Primary School, we inspire our pupils to dream big and explore the vibrant world beyond the classroom. To ignite their curiosity, we have curated a range of exciting opportunities for children to discover diverse careers and vocations throughout their journey with us. This process begins as soon as the children join us in Nursery, where they explore various professions within schools, examine historical occupations, and investigate diverse careers across different countries!

We have a number of links with companies in the community who give the children real life experiences of a variety of professions. This includes Realis Atkins, Rolls Royce, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and our local police force. Children in Year 2 experience professional dance teaching and children in Year 4 each year, learn to play the ukulele - both showing children that people can work in dance and music!
