There are many organisations who can support you with information and strategies to prepare you, your child and their educational setting, ensuring a smooth transition and setting them up for future success.

Derby City Council have published their transition guidance document for parents with children, with SEND, going from Year 6 into Year 7. Please take a read as you may find some useful hints and advice to support your child at home. It will also give you an idea of what Parkview and our feeder secondary schools will be doing to support a smooth and successful transition for your child.
