This group of children is a peer-led, online safety programme for children. The group of children are committed to making the online world safer and more positive for children and young people!

We have officers at Parkview who meet half-termly, to plan how they are going to educate the other pupils about how to keep safe online. The officers deliver whole-school assemblies and workshops to support their friends!

Our work this year:

1.Deep Fakes

Our officers have taught us all about 'deepfakes'. These are an AI-generated piece of media, most often a video or audio, that makes it look or sound like someone is saying or doing something they never did. These realistic fakes can be nearly impossible to distinguish from genuine footage. The officers taught us to be curious and to question whether what we see online, is real or fake.
