Parkview Skills

Our 10 Parkview Skills permeate all aspects of school life, ensuring that the curriculum develops our pupils’ skills as well as academics. These are carefully weaved into all areas of learning across school.

What are the Parkview Skills?

Numerate

To be fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics, to reason and solve problems, applying our numeracy skills widely.

Literate

To have an excellent knowledge of reading, grammar spoken and written language to enable confident and effective communications.

Communicator

To be able to share ideas, information and opinions in a wide range of contexts.

Valuing

To value the world around us and the people and things in it.

Resilience

To keep going when things become tough, both in learning and in personal life.

Challenge

To have high expectations and the self-motivation needed to be the best we can be.

Team Player
