Curriculum

Our Curriculum

Leaders have carefully planned our curriculum to ensure that when every child leaves us in Year 6, they have the knowledge and skills to succeed in life and the modern day. It is designed to ensure that all learners know and remember more in the long term.

We use assessment well to inform our teaching and to provide accurate next steps for all pupils. As a result of this, Parkview's statutory assessment results are, on the whole, favourable in comparison to local and national data.

We ensure the fundamental British values permeate the ethos and life of the school in order to prepare children for life in Modern Britain. We recognise that the personal development of the children – spiritually, morally, socially and culturally – plays a significant role in their ability to learn, and to grow into well-rounded members of society.
