We follow the Kapow scheme of work because as well as developing scientific knowledge and skills, children learn about how science can be used and its impact on our day-to-day lives.

This scheme this is enhanced with several enrichment opportunities throughout the year. Children learn about famous female scientists and we celebrate British Science Week each year which involves a visit from a STEM ambassador. Our close links with Rolls Royce and Atkins Realis gives the children the opportunity to work with real-life scientists and engineers.
