You child's regular attendance to school is very important and we take absence very seriously. 

When your child is absent, the office team will send a text message asking for clarification as to why your child is away from school as part of our safeguarding checks.  Children who arrive after 8:50am should arrive through the main entrance and sign in via the electronic entry system, providing reasons for late arrival.

Attendance below 95% is closely monitored by the Senior Leadership Team and the Education Welfare Officer is notified where necessary. 

There is support if you and your family are finding school attendance a problem. If your child is anxious or worried about going to school, please do ask the school for help.
