  Thank you to all the families that came along to our special R-Time assembly this morning. I am incredibly proud to say we are an R-Time school! 

  

• Good news!

  Mr Pete Harvey, founder of R-Time, came to visit Parkview last week. He spent time observing staff teach R-Time, spoke with children and interviewed leaders about how we implement this programme across school. As you know, the emphasis of R-Time is upon creating effective, respectful relationships by way of random pair work. R-Time has been shown to improve behaviour, reduce bullying, raise self esteem and accelerate learning. For more information visit http://rtime.info/uk/index.php

  I am very proud and pleased to announce, that having gone through the above process, we have been accredited with R-Time school status! This recognises our excellent provision in this area and we can now support other schools in implementing the programme.

  A huge congratulations to all staff! A special thank you goes to all staff who delivered excellent R-Time sessions on the day and Mrs Peach for leading the school through the rigorous process.

• World Book Day 2018

  Children are invited into school on Friday 16th March dressed as their favourite book character. Prizes will be given for the 'Best Dressed' in Family Assembly. I'm sure the day will be lots of fun celebrating our love of books at Parkview!
