• Excellent Food Hygiene Rating

  I am very proud to say the Parkview Primary School were visited by the Food Standards Agency this week, and our servery kitchen has been awarded a 5/5 Food Hygiene rating. We have maintained this standard for a considerable amount of time, which demonstrates the continual dedication and hard work of our Kitchen Staff. May I take this opportunity to thank Mrs Oates and Mrs Harris who serve lunch to our children daily. Well done. 

• The Mayor of Derby invites Parkview children for tea!

  Yesterday, the Mayor of Derby invited three children and their families to join him for tea at the Mayor's Parlour. This was following the Mayor's Christmas card competition, where three of our children were selected. The winner, and two runners up were invited for a tour of the council buildings, along with Mrs Cunningham and their parents. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children and adults to ask many questions. A fabulous time was had by all. In the coming months, we have invited the Mayor to come back to school, to meet our school council. Please look out for further information. May I take this opportunity to extend my thanks to Mrs Cunningham and the Mayor for creating this enrichment opportunity.
